Cuba´s Las Tunas with Reasons to Celebrate May Day

I remember last year at this time, when landlords got together in the same room to finalize details on the May Day. Today we are honored that one of our representatives, Oscar Fidel Rosales Carreño, Secretary of the Union Section No. 1 has been invited to be in the jury box of the parade.

Simply, another incentive to keep going as one said Jose Marti "With all and for the benefits of all." Before he used to go with us, today, he will be on the podium; another reason for not to fail and continue excelling.

Landlord's currency rooms in the municipality of Las Tunas are organized into three union sections. Which have gone as reference in the non-state sector, will also say Present, and Yes for the Fatherland this May, under the slogan For Cuba: Unity and Commitment, this International Workers' Day.

The non state workers achieved a significant percentage affiliation of their workers, and fulfilled 100% of the finance and contribution to the country. They have developed outstanding work in contributing to health in this province.

It is not the first time parading, since its creation they did. Yes, because they are part of the true civil #Society that exists and will exist in Cuba. In addition, they are members of the

Project Handing Love, whose name comes from a visit to be held at the Integral Formation School Alberto Arcos Luque, made on Friday, January 20 last year.

But, since 2012 on the initiative of the members of the three sections of Lessor's Currency Rooms, in Las Tunas have already benefited the hospital pediatric Martyrs of Las Tunas and Children without Family House Amparo with donations.

Donations include appliances and supplies, and support to groups of these institutions to improve the quality of life of those who receive their services. Project Handing Love has as premised the meeting with workers, children and their families about their concerns and how therefore is more useful, for this reason, besides the material; also it contributes to the birthday celebration as well as cultural and recreates activities.

We have many reasons to celebrate this May Day. It will be an opportune time to continue demanding an end to the U.S. blockade and the return of territory illegally occupied by the Guantánamo Naval Base. Likewise it will be the special moment to reaffirm Cuban workers' support for the agreements reached at the recent 7th Party Congress and commitment to the construction of a sovereign, independent, prosperous nation

This May Day we will become the stage for the tribute and recognition to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz on the occasion of his 90th birthday. The truth is that, the non-state workers, and especially the Lessor´s Currency Rooms from Las Tunas, have Reasons to Celebrate May Day.
